Unforgiven (1992) is an epic Western directed by Clint Eastwood. Morgan Freeman plays the best friend of the retired gunslinger who is out to find the people who cut up a prostitute in the town of Big Whiskey. He doesn’t drink a sip of whiskey until he arrives there and the criminals better beware!
This was the first movie to win Clint Eastwood an Oscar and he can thank Morgan Freeman for doing such a great job in his supporting role, even though it was Gene Hackman who won the Oscar for Best Supporting actor.

If you have seen this epic movie, then you would surely think this score is too low and nothing but a 10/10 suffices! It’s the amazing story of a wrongfully convicted man who finds redemption while going through this horrible ordeal.
Morgan Freeman plays the role of Red, the murderer, and the hardened inmate who eventually becomes the best friend of Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins. The story comes from Stephen King’s short story “Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption” and the movie was directed by Frank Darabont.
